Currently the Post War (1946-1958) years have been completed. The Pre-War Years are in the process of being added as you read this, so keep checking back as you will see years become available as they are added. This project is a WORK IN PROGRESS that will grow and fill in over time. If anyone would like to help out with providing information and pictures for the missing years then please let us know. Also we would like to use the Model pictures from the actual brochures. The Website is currently missing several of those brochures. So in cases where a brochure picture could not be located for a particular model, an archive picture was used for identification purposes. Once the correct brochure pics are located, the model picture will be updated. The information compiled here was referenced from a variety of sources which included printed Packard Reference Books, original Packard materials, and information from Private Collections. Most of the information presented has been cross referenced to at least 3 sources. That being said, we are all human, and thats why keyboards have delete and backspace buttons. So mistakes happen. If any information is found to be in error please let us know and we will correct the information if it is indeed found to be incorrect.All of the information provided here has been painstakingly added by hand to a backend Database system. This makes the information dynamic and can be used for future projects. Thanks to Brian Harpst, John Shireman, and Dave Kenney for their hard work over the last 2 months (and 100's of hours) in providing all the research and guidance for this project. The reason for doing the 1946-58 years first was simpley that these years had the most information available in both content uploaded to the website, and also reprented the bulk of the Packard knowledge of everyone that was involved in this project. We hope we can enlist the help of other people to step forward and offer to work on the pre-war years.Thanks again, and I hope everyone enjoys all the hard work.
