8x10 black and white Packard Co. file photograph of a 1929 Packard Adonis hood ornament, right side view. Inscribed on photo back; radiator ornaments, Packard radiator cap mascot 'Adonis,' official name of this mascot/emblem, designed by Edward McCarten - New York City, patent applied for 11/7/1928, design patent #79,561 10/8/1929.

APPLICATION NOTE: Correct for only 1930-31. It fits all models of the 30-31 cars except the 734 and 745 models which have a triangular cap.

Carrie Rodgers standing next to car, Jimmie Rodgers, holding dog, and daughter Anita, holding doll, seated on running board of the family Packard, another dog inside. Inscribed on photo back; Packard 740, custom eight, seventh series, 8-cylinder, 106-horsepower, 140.5-inch wheelbase, 7-person sedan (body type #414), Mrs. Jimmie Rodgers, the Blue Yodeler's Paradise, Kerrville, Tex.
