This is a new (to us) shot of the Briggs manufacturing plant, which was built to manufacture aircraft parts for WWII. Briggs later moved Packard auto body production there, and (as you probably know) Packard moved final assembly there for the 1955-'56 model years.

| I visited the Packard factory on October 7, 2007. This is a view of the front of the offices from across East Grand Blvd. It's not hard to imagine what an incredible structure this was in its day. |

| This is the portion of the plant on the South side of East Grand Blvd. This is also where the Arlan's store was. Notice the wrecker sitting there. That guy was the "security" to protect the main entrance way after it was sold to the museum but before it was removed. |
