Thanks again guys.

I think I will order the clips for the exterior section and maybe use the adhesive on the interior.

Ya'll know I am just making this up as I go.

I am not going to be able to help with that small piece of reynolds wrap as I have the same problem. I think I probably put body filler over mine as well. I asked about it here several months ago but never got a response.

Fourney paint pen is the way to go. It's about the right size.

Likewise for redoing the hubcaps. Mask off a hexagon and spray with red spray paint. Then color in the circular depression with a marker to do the black.

You can always use a ridiculously weak (for metal) adhesive like Elmer's Glue just to keep things seated if it's, say, clipped only at both ends.

Here you go, a 1953 WCFB as evidenced by the starter switch and the small base. Missing a few screws and the choke coil, and the fast idle link--but I could probably find those if they are needed. Metering rods present. $100.

I have friends visiting from Germany in May and they could take this thing back with them to simplify shipping.

Just my

When I replaced my fuzzies that used clips I taped and wedged the strip in place then used a sharp pointed 90 degree scribing tool to push in thru the existing door holes from the inside and mark the locations in the rubber on back of the strip. If you don't want to do that or if your fuzzies are the type held with staples then as long as the back of the strip is somewhat smooth and there are no large gaps I think they could be glued by using a good strength heavy adhesive. That alone may be enough but with the force of the window and particularly the chrome frame surround pushing and pulling against it I would also think a bit of mechanical strength would be a good idea. Using a clip at each end and maybe one in the middle would add a bit of security. Of course as HPH mentioned, the downside to adhesive is they will be difficult to remove again.

Unfortunately I don't know. I don't see a problem aside from finding the correct strength of adhesive—something to hold them on but not make them impossible to remove if needed.

Stewart can you do me a favor? If your "combs" aren't already on... can you take a picture of this area. I need to know how to attach the little Reynolds wrap piece. Pretty sure there's slots for self tappers hidden under either paint or Bondo, but it would help to know exactly where.

I recently received the sweeps and fuzzies door glass.
Does anyone know if these can be glued into place?

I can get the little clips used originally but the seals do not have the holes for the clips and its going to be a nightmare trying to get them all to align and drilled correctly.

Bulbs and flasher were all it took. I had some of their 6 Ohm, 25 Watt "load equalizers" on hand just in case there was an issue with resistance. I will say, the back lights did initially give me a scare - you can't use one incandescent and one LED at the same time. The incandescent will work; the LED will not. Once they were both LEDs, the bulbs functioned as they should.

I need to do another video with at least the park lights on to demonstrate the difference between the running light and an active signal. Will work on that!

Joe, Did you just do signal and park lights with LEDs? I'm thinking of changing my courtesy, back up, and dome light to LED as well.

Of the cars I've seen, I tend to prefer the black lines on the side trim. It seems to look more finished. How would you go about adding them? Paint pen, marker?
