The Model 38 which was introduced in December 1912 as a 1913 model was the first Packard to have left hand drive.

I figure if a person had enough money any defunct brand could be revived.

A new Hispona Suiza model will be introduced at the upcoming Geneva Auto Show.

Great film. Although folks seem to be taking their lives in their hands everyone seems to be survivng. At least without all the traffic lights of today there is no traffic snarl ups or road rage.
When did the US change over to left hand drive.

Gerd, I believe you're referring to an eipcyclic gearbox. Quite a few of the high-end prewar European makes used that principle.

any packards that were attempted AFTER the company closed have been the BIGGEST POShits EVER MADE and FUGLY!!!!! enough said.

to revamp the company would mean to make it all new....cause so far retro has not worked out for any of the "newer" ones.

So it is a 38? Considering that only 556 were made I'm surprised to see one in Hemmings right now for "only" $158,000.

If it were 2005 I would refinance my house and buy that car just so I could drive it for a few years. :)

The two modern examples of the resurection of a great marque -- Bugatti and Maybach -- were made possible due to the financial and engineering resources of great modern auto companies, VW and Mercedes respectively. Come to think of it we probably wouldn't have RR and Bentley today, without successful corporate parents.
