The "Information PACKARD SIX Motor Cars" handbook says:
Shipping weight for Sedan is 4000 lbs. Ready for the road, add 200 pounds (water, gasoline and spare tire). I'm affraid that I have not made a good conversion from kilos. No information about measures in this book.

Hi Ray,
I have a 526 and a 533 in Spain. If I take the 526 data form its "Tecnical Card", a spanish legal document with the technical information of every single car, I get that: Total height: 76,0 inches (193 cm) /altura total/ Total width: 69,7 inches (177 cm) /anchura total/ Total length: 190,9 inches (485 cm) /longitud total/ Wheelbase: 126,0 inches (3200 mm) /batalla/ Body overhang beyond rear axle: 40,9 inches (104 cm) /voladizo de la carroceria/ Wheel track: 57,9 inches (147 cm) /ancho de vias/ Weight (empty car): 2673 pounds (1215 kg) /peso en vacio/ Maximun weight (full car): : 3608 pounds (1640 kg) /peso maximo/ Hope this will be useful for your 526.

Just a short note to tell you that my Packard Registry in Spain has almost 100 Packards left in Spain in good condition (running condition), and perhaphs other ten non-running Packards.
Most of them are pre-war models, and I only have 11 post-war cars.

Hi all,
I would like to share with you my new Packard restoration project: a 1942 Packard 20th series One-Eighty Super Eight Custom Touring Limo. I found the car four years ago, sharing garage with a 1953 Mercedes Benz 300 C Adenauer, that now is restored. The car is a 1550 model (see Car ID number). Stamped of firewall the number is <707I35>. The engine is ready and fitted in the chassis (see closing the super eight engine). The date of the engine is *1 8 47* and I haven't found the engine number. The car was found in average condition, without rust (see body when found). Many parts are lost, so I will need to do a good job if I want to finish the car. The car is painted in maroon (Cavalier Maroon). I will take some photos of the car at this moment and I'll place them here. Regards.

Thanks for your answer.
Yes, I've already found quite interesting information, such as the 1928 Owner Manual in Acrobat Adobe format. If we all share our information, this will be a great place to find everything about our cars. Regards.

In my opinion, a $100K for a 7-26 Sedan is quite expensive. I would tell this guy that half will be a good purchasing price, and something from $60K to $70K would be its real price.
I'm considering that the car is in nice condition, nearly a Show Car ready to drive. Let me share with you a 1930 Packard 7-26 Sedan owned by Mr. Ortega, from Madrid, Spain.
