Hello Howard when I got home I checked the Packard and I have verified that I had an oriiginal pressure sending unit and it is what I believe to be the original one on the engine soon as I touched the wire it literally fell right off and the connector crumbled in my hand also the connector on the sender spins around so obviously it’s no good
I will go to Napa tomorrow and buy the replacement unit I thank you for your help by the way when I disconnected the oil pressure wire the gauge went back to L without a problem thanks again

Hello All
Is there a diagram of the vacuum line routing and connections under dash?
I have a loud hissing sound coming from under the dash when I start the car.Definitley sounds like air leaking and stops soon as engine is shut off
I hear it in the area of the rear heater control
Thanks
Mark

I recently contacted the classic car dealer I purchased my car last year to ask what type of oil was put on when they did their last oil change
Before I purchased it
He stated they put in valvoline vv235 which is sae 50 raving oil high in zinc and phosphorus I am going to get an oil change and am concerned about that weight oil car is never driven in cold winter weather here in ny car shows 105,000 mikes on odometer

Am I safe to replace with same oil? Again not driven or started during very cold winter months or can someone tell me what oil will be correct manual states sae20
Thanks
