Hey Chris great read......as far as other engines go i have always set it to the hard start when hot and then retard a bit and check the total timing this is important, but one thing im not reading here is a mention of total timing, what are you getting for total timing and when it is "all in" should also play....to much and you can hurt the motor. Maybe it doesn't matter on these motors?????

Hello all i am curious if anyone here has a a set of horns for my 41 110 Pacakard coupe, sent mine off too a vender and have not recieved them back (over a year know) no return emails or return calls. Any help is appreciated

I second Diamond back tires, there are two lines of thought as far as radial or not. If you are going for a complete original 10 point restore then stay with biased, but really if you plan to driveyour car alot then for ride and drive ability radials are the way to go, there are so many radials from Coker and Diamond back etc etc etc to chose from its kind of confusing. I put Coker radials (biased look alikes) on my 56 Belair and it rides and drives awesome, biased tires tend to track in road groves and are not very good for cornering (tend to roll on the sides)and im not talking about 55mph up a canyon road, just cruising.
But hey this is just my opinion and im sure this will get a few replys!!!! LOL Good luck

Has anyone used/heard of this vender EGGE???? they sell engine rebuild kits. They have this kit for my carhttps://egge.com/kit/pk245m41-47/ ......is this a decent kit????? and is there anything that i wouldn't be able too do putting a long block back together after all the machining is done professionally???
