Ok, I was able to get some 1/4" ID asphalt covered wiring loom and it worked great. Just a little more tweeking of the bends and another fitting and it will be ready to go.

Thanks for the help

Dave,

Is there a copy of that print on this site, if not where can I get one?

Thanks

I started working on the brake lines and the 2 front lines that connect to the rubber brake hoses have a "braided" covering where it crosses the top of the frame.

Has anyone dealt with this before? What did you do? It is a minor point, but I have the opportunity to do it correctly.

If you look at a cutaway of the 12 in the parts book, page 98 in mine, there is obviously a washer under that bolt in the diagram.

Looks like a very satisfying result.

I wish I could get my wife to let me use the plate drying rack. Pretty neat concept.

Dump it in Evapo rust for a week. Then soak in the ATF/diesel and acetone.

It is Lab Metal which is basically an aluminum air dry epoxy. No mixing or added catalyst.

It will conduct electricity, you can plate it and fill pits in parts you want to powder coat.

It is about the consistency of tooth paste and hardens quickly.

Sands and files easily. In the can you have to keep it covered with their solvent or else it will harden.

And here is where I am today. Little more filing and sanding and then tackle the water pump area.
