Gar
Thank you.

I ordered the tube which should be here next week.

I also found a repair shop that can remove the widow maker insert and install the new tube.

I appreciate your guidance.

Center vs Offset Tire Stem

I have a 1928 Split Rim Disc Wheel. I have been told is has a center stem and others have told me it has a offset stem.

I believe it is an offset but want to confirm.

Thanks

Can you tell me (or show me a picture) where the backup light switch is located on a 6 CYL 533?

Thank You

I am not familiar with a 53, does the car have a vacuum booster?

(My 57 does. I did everything like you did. Eventually found it had issues with the booster)

I had my 1928 completely rebuilt in the UK by hand $1,200 with shipping. I had a local truck repair shop fit my leaks, after fixing 10 leaks, we decided I needed to do something else...(shipped to UK. I supplied just the outer frame and necks. 60 days later, perfect drop in fit.

Hood Lacing is easy. Go to Max Merritt or Kanter or restoration stuff.

RestorationStuff.com also has the rivets you will need.
