I got my 6 volt Optimas from Advance Auto. They had to order it from their warehouse though. Took a day or two.

I'm on the other coast but am in no way shape or form a good mechanic. Our Florida Packard Club President has been asking the same question in our printed newsletter for a few issues so we can help refer members who need a Packard capable mechanic. I do not know if he has gotten any response to his requests. You could try contacting Norm via the "Contact Us" tab on the website:http://www.flpackardclub.org/home.html

I've been watching some YouTube videos and looking at websites pertaining to Concours d'Elegance Invitationals and/or manufacturer themed shows. I notice all these high end works of art coming from across the country and being invited to do so. The cheapskate in me can't help but ask- who pays the transport for cars coming from across country? The car owner or the show producer?

From the Literature Archive. It's in Spanish but it shows the different body styles:

Oiling generator

Hopefully an easy question. My understanding is that the little oil cap on the top of the generator is for lubing the unit. Should I be using regular old motor oil or something else, like 3 in 1 or some other lubricant?
