All of below are my results and feeling of My 57 Clipper and Randy (my) Caribbean radios with dual power antennas. Both radios were rebuilt by army friend of mine both work same way. When in garage will not stop at some of weaker station button is set for. Radio reception not as good when inside garage. Both radios work better with antenna extended. I can not have antennas up all the way and clear garage door. Don't like look of antennas fully extended . For looks I keep them lower and and unplugged from power as they will only be same height when up all way or down. When fully extended remind me of some kind of deep sea fishing boat. When down worry about someone getting eye poked out looking at back of cars

Pretty easy to change fuel line on 57 58 Packards as from tank to joint near front of chassis near brake pedal bracket where frame kicks or bends up . short piece from that point to where fuel pump line connects. If you put your electric fuel pump near front of rear springs easy to replace line which is not expensive or hard job and will make sure you have no small . With new fuel lines and pump you should have no fuel problems as all will be new. If car is supercharged fuel line is 3/8 from tank to factory mechanical pump pump. From pump to carb is 5/16. pic is my electric pump mounting location

That's what I remember seeing this proves all my memory cells are not dead yet. Still looking of picture as Randy was talking to Ross when I took picture will find it when looking for something else. Thats the bad with digital cameras we take too many pictures with old style 35mm film limited number 24 or 36 with digital almost unlimited Thanks Ross

After looking at pictures of your distributor I would give all the parts a good cleaning. Appears to be a lot of scum or dirt . Clean electrical parts make for better performance and less chance of bad connections. I Have found that some of rotors being sold now are loose fitting on shaft. Which leads to touching the individual contacts for each wire lead. Shim the inside of rotor with piece of paper till rotor is tight on shaft
