I saw this on the front cover of the cormorant magazine; did Packard ever build this model even as a one off and did it survive?

Sounds like engine rebuild time to me. I can offer sympathy I was driving my 1955 400 on the pennsylvania turnpike in 2005 now admittedly I am a bit of a leadfoot and was doing about 70 mph then I heard this bang and saw clouds of black smoke coming from the tailpipes. I pulled to the side of the road and called triple A then I saw that awful sight antifreeze coming out of the exhaust pipe. Later when I took it to the shop that rebuilt the engine the rebuilder says so Mike how many miles did the owner tell you this car had on it? I said 89K he said add about 200K to that figure. I must admit however he did a great job of rebuilding it the engine, recored radiator for less than $5000 including parts and labor.

1955 Packard bumper studs

Last year I picked up a replated bumper for my car from bumper boys. I have to admit the plating job they did looked great, but when me and friend attached it to the car we noticed something was missing; there were two studs on the old bumper where there we only two holes on the new one. So I am going to order new studs for the bumper and have a local body shop weld them in the only thing is I've forgotten what size they were, can anyone enlighten me?
