Spud.

When you get to band lever.

Knock the roll pin out. To see if strut is broken.

If they are..

2 options.. one I can make you 2 from chrome moly.

Or I have NOS struts.

No charge..

Also

The levers. have a pin. Remove it.

And. You let the lever rotate around pin.

Then.

Use a spacer to center lever.

I made thick aluminum ones
.
Kevin used. Washers.

Got around to un doing the delta cd.

Pertronics only. With a diode before + on coil both wires. Packard and Pertronics

I have power on take off..

Uneven on power so carb is either cold. Or other problem..

So Pertronics is ok.

Delta cd pooped out after 60 years.

Before I venture into Edlebrock. What are your guys options.
On the Buick or Cad 4gc. Not sure where the vacuum port is on them. But only thing I see is the excel pump is smaller.
Maybe the manifold is different.

Sorry Stewart

I've done it many times.. but. I can't recall.

It's something I remember when I do it..

But seems to me it's easier than the door.

Kevin.

I watched a lot of u tube. Guys doing golf clubs.
And restoring old tin plate Tonka trucks.

And. Making nickel with basic home stuff. Forget exactly. Think vinegar is one.

But I think more work than spud wants to do...

Would take time with the rust . Filling and sanding

Polished nickel looks great.

Thanks TX

My first attack is to take the cd out of the system.

Did talk with pertronics tech.. his thoughts also. If it's starting. Module is ok.. but sent troubleshooting info too.

He also said. Ground . That's mainly the complaint ..

Pertronics has had it with ca.

Moving to KC.
