The only Packard I have NOW is a 1/87th scale '53 Caribbean (I WILL say it's in perfect, like-new condition!... )...

But, after I get a '47 TWO-door Clipper...I'll go for an opalescent blue '63-67 Jaguar E-Type roadster. PURE sex appeal on wheels!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Probably 55-60 MPH, as a 5-8 year old, riding in the back of Dad's 1947 Clipper Deluxe...

This should NOT have been hot-rodded...

I spotted the following listing on Ebay...

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1941-Graham-Hollywood-Rat-Rod-Hot-Rod-Unique-and-Different-/181232528451?pt=US_Cars_Trucks&hash=item2a324cec43#ht_500wt_1183

I'm all for tastefully done hot rods/street rods.

NOT when it's something THIS rare, though.

I've always thought it would be cool to take a junk 120 coupe body, and mate it to a '55-'56 TL chassis and Packard V-8...

1947 is my favorite year Packard. I've always thought a convertible version would have looked wonderful.

The one pictured doesn't. Not with that ridiculous top and boattail.
