I absolutely noticed the non mention of the allied lives lost on this date in 1944. The news was too busy trying to divide Americans into groups. My local station did a fluff piece on people doing exercises in a field.

I got my refund a few days ago. The mail service is not doing too well right now.

Silicone brake fluid will cause the older three prong brake light switches to fail quickly. They are pricey and I use dot-3 in my 56's.

Not black, the color of the emblem was used on the letters on the trunk handle.

Motor City Packards has reproduced from the original Packard blueprints a leather key case. Check out the Packard Club website.

The Packard Proving Grounds, north of Detroit. If you do go to the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn, Michigan, give me a call I live 1 mile away.

A lot of people sell carpet sets but Neal's is the carpet that is right for 1956. I bought enough carpet to do both my cars. My advice is to buy the carpet and have your upholstery shop sew and install it. You can get the correct heal pad from Steele Rubber.

Check the Packard Club website. Neal Porter in Michigan had the 1956 carpet reproduced. A loop is NOT correct for 1956. I believe he is out of black but the colors he has can probably be dyed.
