Good Evening...Try Bratton's Model A Parts. Ask for Walt Bratton. He has been in the business as long as Owen has and will be able to compare the spring sizes with you. It seems to me that they are very close...Ernie in Arizona.

Good afternoon Mal...Yes, I believe we have seen this girl before and perhaps for a bit more money. She may have been 'updated' in a few areas...but a nice old girl to 'take to the dance', non-the-less. If only these old girls could talk and tell us about their experiences! How is your 50 doing these days? Our 49 is just chugging along like a Packard should. Ernie in Arizona

Amen...If it was not for Dave and a few others answering questions for me in 2012, our 49 would most likely still causing me to use strong four letter words. Dave, Owen is the reason Miss Prudence runs properly, these days. Many thanks, Ernie in Arizona

Good Morning...The last time that sort of noise happened in one of my cars, it was a broken break spring. My Grand Daughter and I replaced it and all has been well...Ernie in Arizona

Good Morning all...I have a question regarding the Ultramatic transmissions...How much of a pain would it be to put a 1954 Ultramatic into a 23rd series Packard that had an original Ultramatic? Just as a side note our 23 series Deluxe has the three speed with the Overdirve and that is a great combination in my humble opinion...Ernie in Arizona

Good Grief - Your Monte Carlo looks like it must have been un-loved for a period of time. The old girl is lucky to be in your care at this point...Ernie in Arizona

Good Morning Don and the rest of the gang...I found the flasher at Max and we installed it this morning and now the little yellow light is working as it should. The bonus is that the new flasher makes enough noise that I can hear the clicking when the flasher is working...Thanks very much for the help...Ernie in Arizona

Good Afternoon Mal...It looks/sounds like you are still sorting the old girl out...funny the way they only show us one or two problems at a time...I think they want to show us how important they are by constantly giving us something to think about. We've had Miss Prudence six years now, and she still gives us a reminder once in a while of just how important she considers herself! Ernie in Arizona
