1951 Packard jack
Home away from home
Home away from home

John
On the 1951 Packard 200 4dr sedan, how is the jack stowed in the trunk? Usually the foot off the jack goes in the center of the spare tire and the wingnut tightened down. But where does the rest of the jack and handle go?

I like the Isetta, I think that is the first time I've seen the actual chassis under one. Hope to see more pictures.

I've heard some say that the Hydromatic transmissions sometimes develop slip using the newer Dextron type fluid, I guess because they are slipperier.

Those were probably better made tires than the new replacements are. I'm not sure what they did to tires anymore but 10 years is pushing it anymore.......

What about something like bed-liner coating??
I always thought it might be good at sealing and also sound deadening some too.

On transmission fluid, is it better to use the F type with original bands and the Dextron with the new replacement bands? Or does it matter?
