I have some questions about a car that was offered at Vanderbrink Auctions this summer, the catalog was:
1946 Packard Limo 4dr VIN: F592910 The information from the car is as follows. title: F592910 data plate: original but devoid of markings motor: F502910 anti theft: 681894 wheel base: 148" division window and jump seats front compartment: leather rear compartment: cloth Is this car a 1946 or 1947? Is it unusual for the data plate to be unstamped? If it were stamped, what would the numbers look like? Would an identical car bear an identical data plate and numbers? Are these cars identified by the motor number on a title or is there another number? Is the factory build sheet available? The car was of slight interest to me at the time but curiosity remains active and I appreciate any feedback. Thanks
