28 526 roof wood framing
Home away from home
Home away from home

rrhorton
My car came with body off and a tarp over the non metal roof area. I have wood around the perimeter but nothing across the space. Does anybody know where to find drawings, photos or anything else to determine what goes into finishing the roof before the outer and inner materials are laid?

'28 526 bumpers and steering arm removal questions
Home away from home
Home away from home

Attached photos show the bumpers that came with my car. I do not believe they are Packard bumpers but need some help identifying them.
Also, I have been trying to remove the steering arm from the shaft from the steering unit so I can remove it from the frame. I have not been able to budge it. Photo shows gear pullers on but it will not move. Any suggestions?

'28 6cyl carb id
Home away from home
Home away from home

I have recently purchased a dismantled 526 sedan and will have many questions. First is the carb that I removed has a data plate stating it is a Carter model BB1A. Is this original for the 6cyl?
Also, how do I remove the wheel nut hub caps? Mine are pretty banged up.
