There's no more carpet left and it wasn't there when we took it off. :/

But you think it could be possible to trace it down, Kevin? I really should try that. :)

I ordered fabrics for seats and the vinyl for the dashboard from SMS. They said it'll take 1 month for me to have them. Eventually it took many messages saying "one more month" and I got them after 6 months. They came and they were really good quality.

So I'm really happy with the quality, but next time they should be honest with the delivery times.

The Studebaker Museum will provide you with the original shipping paper for $48.00. Other than that is questionable in my opinion. PennDot will go back, I think 10 years. Hope this helps.

Anyone have build sheets for 1955 Packards?

Also does anyone know if there's a way to trace my car's history by it's last known California licence plate?

Did any stars have a 1955 Packard 400 or a Caribbean? I'd love to know... :)

Here's my Packard, now painted! :)

Resized Image

She still needs a lot of work. I bought a pair of fender skirts and have to get them painted. The wheels also have to be painted.

I'm still waiting for SMS Auto Fabrics to get my interior materials done and shipped. They said 4 weeks but it's been about 6 months now.

Sorry for the off topic. Nice Patrician you have there! Can you post a closer photo of the spotlight / mirror? :)

The reason I'm asking is because I have the vanity mirror with the Packard emblem in the top center and the frosted areas with travel record etc. The vanity mirror in the 55-56 doesn't look the same. It has "Packard" written on it instead of the Packard emblem. Now am I right that my vanity mirror is from an older Packard than 1955?

I am sorry to bring up such an old post but I'd like to know what year did Packard offer that vanity mirror?
