what is up with the 1/2 designation for the year on the Patrician. I know Fords did the 1/2 designation during the early NASCAR years . but never for a Packard

i know the Mayfair. it came from Santa Rosa with another car for cheap. the guy that bought them is a great guy with a family and aa lowrider. he is putting a small block chevy in aa 53... he has alot of other projects. not all Packards. i was helping with stuff and i bought a straight 8 with ultramatic. he was going to chop the Mayfair. but i think his wife got some sense into him...

he has a 53 four door parts caar. too. and lots of parts. i am going out there again this weekend.

guy out here has a rebuilt 327. for under two grand. i also have a number in ohio of a Packard engine guru. i will PM when i find it

That is a sweet 50. it should not be that much to properly rebuild one. i got way less quotes out here in California. I am thinking of rebuilding myself because i want it done right the first time and to run worry free for another fifty years.
