The two modern Cole-Hersee relays appear to be wired differently internally. Which is correct?

All glass and rubber was new when I owned it but it had sat outside for a couple years after the body work, then in my garage for over 30 years so deteriorated quite a bit. Apparently much of the glass is included but, as it's all flat, that is no problem one way or the other. This car had about 55k miles on it when I owned it.

As for who owns it now, it was apparently just purchased by the current owner from an upholstery shop owned by the previous owner after that person died. Apparently it had been reupholstered (non-stock), then moved outside without windows for reasons unknown. The current owners know little about it other than what I've told him.

Yes, the Club Sedan conversion was done professionally and, in fact, is the same as I’ve seen on factory Club Sedans where the window openings were still there but blanked over and below is a factory 120 Club Sedan photo. This 110 did not get the plate added but probably should! Unless I sold them with the car, I may still have the quarter windows from it too and I know I have the engine that matches the title!

Here’s a photo taken in Bellevue, WA when it was an everyday driver (I was a teenager then). The running board trim was from a late ‘40s or early ‘50s Hudson!

This was the only time I had ever put chains on it and I believe I still have those too along with a couple other bits that failed to go with it when it was sold!

This was a later 1940 model with the flattened bumper ends rather than the squished ends of the earlier models but it has an early trunk lid from a parts car, the difference being in the decorative emblem used and the location of the holes for mounting it. The tall grille guard was from my 1939 Six.

I have an original lockout cable and proper kickdown switch from my first Packard, a 1939 Six. Somewhere I have the anchor bracket and u-bolt for the cable too which held it in place under the car.

It's a small world... On Facebook Marketplace there's a 1940 Packard 110 for sale in Ohio, still titled in PackardDon's name from 1972!

Wow! It had been sandblasted and a light coat of protective light blue paint added to the body with the entire front end in primer the last I saw it! Before that it was black but it was originally a bright blue from the factory although it was yellow when I bought it.

When I sold it it had a rebuilt 1941 engine with 0 miles (the Electromatic mount boss is visible in the Marketplace photos) but I still have the 1940 engine that was in it when it was my everyday car. I even drove it down from Bellevue, WA to San Jose, CA when I moved there which is when it was titled in California. It was sold originally by the Packard Seattle Company and was apparently there all its life until I bought it in 1965 or 1966 or so as my fourth Packard. In fact, it was a parts car for my 1939 but the 1940 turned out to be in better condition so I sold the '39 and kept the '40.

It was the only 110 Club Sedan made which I know because I am the one who had it converted. It also had a factory two-tone interior. It had blue seats and rear arm rests and blue rear window moldings but the front moldings were wood grain. I had them all re-woodgrained and I still have the original wiring harness along with the blue seat upholstery with the Packard name stamped on the underside.

The wheel covers, rear bumper and bail ornament were NOS and I added R9 overdrive. The front bumper was replated and I had new grille bars and hood louvers made by a local (Bellevue) sheet metal shop and they were chromed too. The dash trim and all handles and knobs were also all rechromed.

BigKev fixed the same error for me once before too but he did not respond this time so I figured he was unavailable.

It is a simple security setting within the xoops software that (in this case) causes it and the last time he relaxed it a little but probably not quite enough. That said, I believe the server is Linux or Unix and I run Linux myself so Microsoft has absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with it.

No container - just the pipe with a label on it - but it's the length. Try getting a quote an the rocker trim pieces and you may be surprised! Last year it was far, far cheaper than it is now.

As I recall, the search engine does not allow searches on fewer than three characters.

One little thing to keep in mind is that if you buy a 1955, the electrical system is positive ground. That probably means little in itself but some modern accessories may not work on it. 1956 was the first year of the negative ground that most cars still use today.

One year only so may prove difficult to find without paying more than you did for the rest of the car! My original 1939 Six that I bought in the mid-‘60s had it but I never drove it enough to now whether it worked or not. As I recall, it was a fairly simple or maybe even simplistic system compared to the later ones.
