If I recall correctly the handle will come off if you loosen the ring, i suspect there is a type of clip/snap ring type clip that holds the ring to the handle, I had mine off and can't recall anything more then it comes off by loosening the ring that has broken on your handle.

NOS head gasket in my opinion is the way to go. The low compression is in cylinders that are next to each other, this may be the result of a bad gasket. If the engine has the original aluminum head I suggest inspecting the cylinder head for corrosion in the water passages, this can also be the problem. I experienced problems with a newly rebuilt engine, all due to a bad aluminum cylinder head.
I torqued my cylinder head to 63 ft lbs.

Jason rebuilt and Restored the generator for my 1935 Senior Eight. It took a few months but was well worth the wait.

Yes it does. My engine is a 320. I have many photos of my engine rebuild should you need any for reference.

You are missing the oil manifold. John Ulrich may have the part you need.

Aluminum heads are available from John Kocsis. 213-709-7258
jkocsis294@aol.com.
He took over Ernie Foster's cylinder head business after Ernie died.

I have found one locally I think may work, just looks as if the lower water hose attachment point has been modified at some point. The lower photo is the one for sale, pictured near red tank. My car is currently running and driving great, I just want to do anything I can to help it run a bit cooler in the 90-100 plus degree heat I get in the summer months, I suspect a newly rebuilt/recored radiator may help.
