Thanks Joe but i believe your caps are bigger, your bottom picture has has the cap at just over 10.5' the ones that came off the car are 9".

Oh so it may be original!?!?!?! The sender and the fuel line looked like they where undisturbed or original. Im thinking ill take Newbies idea and cut it.....and make a access up top in the trunk as well

Well i would have too say my tank isnt stock then. The filler pipe isnt 2 pieces its one solid piece. Now i wonder what tank i have????

It fit well straps lined up on the tank........ Thats weird

Chris, thanks for the info, i did drive it at night once before i started the refresh and most interior/cluster lights where none existence. The wiring on this car is BRITTLE, and i have a complete harness waiting to be put in.

Has anyone tried any of the LEDS now available?

This is a 51 with white off white and different colors its also 6V
