Thank you Howard for shining more light on this topic. Do most parts have part numbers? And is thier a place on the site that describes a part let's say a fasteners length, grade and thread just for a matter of finding something that will be compatible like an interchange when running into a wall because I can imagine most Packard Parts are not readily available via catalog ( or am I wrong)

Big Kev if you see this thanks for doing all the leg work in the past, having this info online for me and other is very helpful.

Hi Dave, just curious but do you think you will have trouble doing this since the 55 is wired backwards from most aftermarket stuff. Being the 55 is s ground positive application?

Curious to what the gurus have to say.

Thanks Sir,, very good info but still not what I was looking for. What I ran across one day where diagrams and part numbers, that involved surrounding parts.
Thanks for your reply.

Hey fellas, got a couple questions about the 55 Constellation. Well this one's kind if embarrassing but here it goes. When I first bought it and took it home me, the old owner and the tow guy could not get the cars rear wheels loose like if it was in park. But I remember putting in P N 'D' R and the rear wheels where still stuck. I Remember reading in the manual that I was to toggle the emergency park release to the left or something but I tried that once and still nothing. If you can please give me tips on how to break the rear wheels loose so I can move this mug. Thanks.

The second question. Is very basic. But what would you do to an engine (like mine/ 352) that has been sitting for years to get it start running again. What steps would you take to try to get it fired up. Because I would like to know it's condition and compression.
Thanks
Ronnie.

Hi Don. It's because when I try to upload a picture from my phone it comes in sideways or not at all so I screenshot them with no problems. It's not just this site it happens on other forums I frequent too. So it must be my phone.
