Hi All
Started the cooling system work today ..
I learned you cant take out the radiator with out taking out the water pump first .. but you cant take the water pump out with out taking out the 2 bolts of the front motor mount..

So now that all handled.

I have two ? ( see pics )

1. what is this rubber doughnut thing and this modified t-stat.( t-stat should have a metal ring to hold it in ? )

2. Where is the water tube ????? ( some one been in the motor. guessing they didn't put it back in )

Any input or what other things should i be looking into at this point ?

ok all thanks you posting and watching ... here after a LOT of time with the steam cleaner and oven cleaner .. i got about 1/2 in OR 80= years of junk off the backing plates and now can see the ( not a bleeder ) but look like a plug ?

Hi all

Well it time to replace the stock rear wheel cylinders..

Is there a modern wheel cylinder we can use with the stock master ...

the stock ones dont have a bleeder valve / nipple

ok i snagged a 477S
ill post pics when it gets here ... It may be NOS or at lest
rebuilt long ago

that starter thing is kinda slick ... im guessing when you step on the gas it turns over the starter ....

Thanks Brain ..

I was looking for that kinda info .. if the two carbs are the same or close to the same in the jetting and such ...
