David - I have the same car - It has the Ignition Cable Grommet. mounted in a bracket , and two 4 wire Spark Plug Wire Spacers (one is broken )- looks like they all are made of hard rubber The Cable Grommet is slotted -

Thanks to everyone for your comments - I contacted Dwight at Packard Parts He sent me a picture of the two rotors ( Auto Lite and Delco ) He says the Delco system has the small rotor and the Auto Lite has the large rotor . I popped the distributor cap and removed the rotor - Mine is like the small one - so, guess I have a Delco system I will also look for a tag on the starter and generator -- Thanks

They can order the cap and rotor at Napa, but had no listing for CS-17 points , so talked to Dwight at Packard Parts - He said if I can tell him if I have Delco or Auto Lite distributor, he has them -

Ross - Did the 48 Deluxe use both Delco Remy and Auto Lite ignition systems ? If so. when was the changeover ?
