Group 31.430 in the parts book only shows one number for the front floor mat on Model 2362, so looks like the same mat was used for all trim codes

I used a spline type screw extractor to remove the bolts by carefully drilling a hole of the recommended size for the extractor in the center of the bolt. I broke a standard socket on the first try but was successful when I used an impact socket in the 5/16' size needed for the hex on the extractor.
The attached photos show the holes drilled in the bolts, extractor driven into a bolt, removed bolt with extractor still in place and the removed counterweights.

For those who have never seen one of these crankshafts, removal of the counterweights is necessary for grinding the throws to undersize since the weights overlap the edge of the throws by about 1/16"

That was my post, but it related to duplicating the Mosstred carpet used in the Custom 8 models only.
I don't know of anyone that reproduces the floor mats for the Deluxe 8.

Yes, temperatures were nice, between 15 and 20 degrees C (60 to 70 F), cooler at night.

The 1955 Caribbean dealer tag is original to the car and from Mayfair Motors in Edmonton, Alberta. It was the only one sold new in the Province and has remained here all its life.

Alberta PI Tour

Here are some pictures from the Alberta Region of PI tour to the Banff & Canmore Tour last weekend.
There were 6 Packards in attendance - 22nd Series Super 8 and Custom 8, 1951 200 Sedan, 1955 Custom Clipper, 1955 Constellation and 1955 Caribbean.
