Looks like it could be for a 22nd Series Custom 8. I just checked one and it has the same inlet, outlet and filler arrangement. The tag says Modine AD 4890L019

There are 2 bolts that can contact coolant in the water jacket. The one on the upper left when looking at the pump from the front and the middle lower one.
There is a machined recess in the pump body at both of these locations.

Looking very nice. Perhaps I will be able to see it firsthand as I will be visiting South Africa in April. Will send a PM with contact information.

The cores for the door seals are made of steel strips with tabs at right angles. The original rubber seal was bonded to the core and fastened to the door pillar with glue and also by screws through the holes in the tabs. I'll try to add some photos later.

Photos of original installation added.

why do you have two door switches on this door? mine only had one on each side.....

Because you have a Clipper. 1955 Patrician and 400 models have the extra switch for the outside courtesy light.

Hello all. My son is building a 1947 Super Clipper Deluxe

Some clarification might be in order. Most of the replies have assumed that the car is a Super Clipper which is a high end model. There was also a middle priced Clipper Deluxe model in 1947 with a drivetrain that was based on the prewar 120 series.
Either one would make a very nice vehicle with the original drivetrain.
The serial number would help to confirm which model you have.

Where can I buy The rubberpads between the chassis and the frame?

John,

There are no rubber pads between the body and frame on Packard convertibles, only steel spacers and shims. Packard mounted these bodies to the frame with a solid connection to make up for lack of rigidity in the convertible.

There is some Packard information in this Motor Wheel Catalog. I also spent quite a bit of time trying to track down current information on Motor Wheel Corp. without much success.

I don't see why it wouldn't work. I checked a 1107943 on a 6 cylinder bellhousing and found that the mounting matched. The drive assembly is the same for both starters. The main difference is probably the torque rating since the later unit was used for 8 cylinder cars.

The trunk light for 1948-50 cars is wired into the circuit for the tail lights and does not have a separate switch. It is turned on from the headlight switch.
