The rod for the switch is straight. I can't take new pictures right now, because the car is parked elsewhere. I have an older picture and I hope it helps you.

Thanks Randy. The picture you mentioned, doesn't show black characters as far as I can see. Maybe somebody has a better picture?

Hello,

I'm restoring my Packard Convertible (1951, 24th series). Should I paint the characters "Packard" on the back of the car red? The part number I mean is 31.1635. And what are the original colors of the Packard logo underneath it (part number 31.1631)? Does anyone have a picture of the correct logo?

On pictures some cars have red characters, some haven't.

Thanks for your help!
