Yes, The fifty is mine and you folks have helped me with it. While I have been enjoying it a lot lately I am forced by life circumstances to part with it. It's in North central Ct. if any of you have an interest. Thanks

Congratulations on your decision. I hope you are enjoying your new Mopar soon and have many trouble free miles. One of my more recent cars was a '54 Dodge that probably had the same drive train and I loved it. Good luck.

Please tell me you are still going to look at this car. Otherwise I will need to do it myself out of curiosity. These people have been in business for a long time and I'd like to think they know what they are up to but Packard's are tough so???...

That's interesting. That's one of those sights I look at once in a while just to see what is there. I had noticed it quite a while ago and then it was gone. I did not know it is the same one. I went that dealer to look around years ago and he was very nice. I think he has a good reputation but unfortunately I can't speak about that car. Good luck either way.

Hi, I'm not familiar with the car but I was curious. Is it the one I see listed at Goldenrod Garage?

I found out the hard way about repairing these manifolds. I tried to have mine welded and they were pretty much ruined. Ross was also helpful by having one manifold but since mine were both cracked I bought another off ebay and when I got it it was also cracked. A local machine shop told me about a man who does metal stitching which I had not heard of. I brought the damaged manifold to him and he was able to repair it, for less than the welder charged me to ruin the others. I realize you already have a replacement but this is for future reference and so you can have your original repaired if you wish. I will probably bring my originals to him one day to see if he can fix them. My original studs were reused as was the spring.

I Don't know what kind of car that came off but I have one, in poor condition, that I bought from a friends antique shop nearly 20 years ago. It's in my garage with an extension cord hanging on it. I'll be interested to find out where it came from.
