I got it running!!
It was the front bolt on the starter spring that got sheared off. Probably from age.

Does anyone know of someone or company that can retro fit the control knobs on the radio face plate 34-36 and connect them to a new am/fm radio?

I thought the little box was the relay, but it is smaller than what I am used to seeing.
The lights are working. The heater is a hot water, and I don't know if there is a fan, ( I'll check that) I should hear a click even though the lights are a little dim. Right? I will try to "Hot wire" it and see if that works. There are only 2 wires going to the switch. (I think) Thanks for your input. This is my first Packard and I don't want to do anything that can damage something. I'll let you know how it turns out! Thanks again!

On my 1934 only the starter motor turns when I push the starter button.
Does it engage with a bendix type spring? I don't see a solenoid. There is just a small box on top of the starter motor. The car started and ran great but when it arrived by truck to it's new home, it would not start and we had to push it out of the trailer. The battery may be a little weak, but I should still hear a click. Right? Has anyone got any ideas for me?
