Thank you!!!

I’ll probably lean toward putting 10w30 ZROD AMSOIL in the car unless there are reasons other than the price.

I’ll order a filter asap and do as recommended. Thanks for the help!

Good evening all!

I have a 110 special, 1942 Clipper. I am looking at preforming it's first oil change under my ownership and was wondering if I could get some help what oil to use and if there was an oil filter on this model, I believe that I see one, but I am not 100%

If it does have an Oil filter, what partn number would i use to obtain a new one?

It was repainted already once back in 1989 according to my family and it has weather and cracking since. It's time for a solid quality paint that'll last!

Thanks Howard! I'll pick up a SFE 4!!

As for model, I'm honestly not sure. All the books I have received with the car are marked for 2000 and 2010 so all I really can break out of that is it's any model with in the Packard Six series lol can you help me pin point which one?!

Good morning!
I've just inherited a 1942 Packard Clipper, I don't know a ton about the car other than it's been in the family forever.
Since I've gotten it, I've replaced the tires (Bias) that we're last replaced in 1989 with radials. I've re-installed The radio. I replaced the spark plugs, wires, cap and rotor, points, and battery.
She drives like a dream!!! Overall, she is in really good shape! She is getting a paint job in the next month or two using the color wheel from the 1942 Packard color chart.

One question, does anyone know what size SPF goes in the wiring to the clock?

Thanks!!!
