All the wheel cylinders should have a bleeder. If your rear cylinders do not have bleeders they must be broken off. Original bore is 15/16". Here are a few number ---

wc 4803 and wc4804
wc 9025 and wc 9026 --requires adapter for brake line

Suggest you remove old wheel cylinders and take to auto parts store along with
provided numbers.

Years ago when I did the brakes on my 47 Super I used 4803/4 for the front wheel
cylinders. These were direct replacements for the 1" bore originals. The 13368/9
are 1 1/16 bore. These will work if the inlet thread size is 7/16-20 which is the size of the male end of the brake hose. If not then an adapter is required.

I have not heard that. If you need a set of suppression type wires, I have a Delco
NOS set number 488E. This would fit your Packards ,as it is a universal set.
$40 shipped or offer.

Thanks

I have a spark plug wire set for Packard 1948-1954. It fits the 288 and 327 engines. It is like the original wires, being copper cored and black lacquer
coated. Part number 394497. Price is $50.00 shipped. Thanks

You are correct about not being connected to the door switches on your 2dr . Thus, just a reading light. On the 4dr models according to the wiring diagram, the reading light is also connected to the rear door switches thus becoming a read/courtesy light. This circuit also includes the rear cigar lighter.
