omg.. i just typed out so much stuff.. and my "session" timed out.. anyway..

"solenoid power" wire connects to the "right" post on the starter solenoid..

"ign switch start" connects to the "S" post on the starter solenoid

"alt power" connects to the "batt" post on the alternater

is this correct?
where does the pos. battery cable bolt to?
what else do i need to connect to the alternater?
the ballast resistor goes where?

i cant remember my other questions right now..

oh yeah.. i'm using a harness from ez wiring..

Gauge questions

two of my gauges have a gold disc in the middle but, the clock seems to be silver. do you think it's just faded, been replaced, or supposed to be that way?

also, they measure 4.25 inches in diameter. replacement gauges are advertised as 5 inch, 3 and 3/8ths or smaller.

i dont want to replace them but, just rewired the whole care for 12v. do i need to do anything to my existing set up to work with all my new volts?

i just bought an new coil, altinator, altinator bracket, solenoid, 2 new headlights, and 2 new plugs for the headlights.

i'm going to be ordering the ez wire 21 kit (EZW-17C).. tomorrow probably..

i'm planning on replacing the cap/rotor/condenser/points.. i noticed they had a "tune up kit" from Kanter that has all that stuff for $60.. are there any that i could just go down to the parts store and pick up? i checked the "x-ref" and found a few things that looked like they would work, but when i tried to look up the model number, they came back negative..
