Port. ..picture 4 see the shaft hanging. Down.. that part is not brought. Up. The coupling does not support. Shaft....i am going. To put coupling. Down. Inside. Top of pump. The coupling will be about 2-1\2 inches. Long..

that chrome moly is what i used inside diameter fits shaft with just a hair clearance. slip fit.

dist shaft,

machine shop chromed mine, and ground it, only thing, i need to heat gear to put on shaft, good/bad?,, its not gonna move,,, the gear was moving on shaft even being pinned..from factory..

james said kanter has shafts somewhere......they were looking on 3rd floor.

the chrome should last for ever, with oil impreg bronze bushings,,

wonder if i dry ice the shaft it will shrink enough to slide on gear, dave does it for the damper i think
