Hi,

I am hoping someone can tell me which radiator cap will fit my 1938 Packard Jr. The radiator is a McCord. The Part X-Ref only went down to 1942. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Ryan

Can't help with the number but it's a non-pressure cap with a single side thumb tang. I saw plenty of them at the recent PAC National at Reading PA and I suspect most if not all of the usual Packard vendors have them. I might give Patrician Industries (Joel Ray) a try first.

Question: When did Packard go to a pressurized cooling system in the junior cars? I thought it was when the sealed water pumps were introduced.
