Wonderful. Thanks for being so specific. So this is a 1927 model year?

Not to jump in on Fred, but Packard did not introduce new models based on the calendar year until much later; rather, new models were introduced when new innovations were ready to be introduced, or when market conditions demanded change. This vehicle is a 4th Series Eight and production ran from 7/1/27 to 8/1/28; thus most who try to apply a calendar year identification to it would refer to it as a 1928 model year vehicle.

O-D, you are correct, the incorrect date I provided was misfiled in my brain under "mistakes" I did not give a year on purpose as I knew Packard did not use year designations back then.

Thanks for catching it, when I run for president I don't want that on my record.
