I got this with my 740 Club Sedan. Was told it was a Packard trunk. It's curved edge does match the rear contour of the car. It's evidently missing all the wood pieces. Has anyone seen one like this?

I do not recall seeing any original Packard trunk with a sculpted top

Unlike any "official" Packard trunk that I've ever seen. But keep in mind that owners could buy trunks on the aftermarket, and I suspect many Packard dealers would also source from the aftermarket for a customer, perhaps enticing them with $s saved over factory equipment.
