Several good shops around that do babbit (not rabbit) work. One that I can recommend from personal experience is Paul's Rod and Bearing. Google for contact info.

Barry, you might want to go over to the AACA Forum and browse some recent posts in General Discussion by "Herm111" of Kohnke Rebabitting Service. He sounds very well informed and experienced in babbit work.

Works for me too but if you want the whole URL, here is everything after forums.aaca. Type that much in and copy and add the rest of the string leaving no space after the period.
org/topic/298593-babbitt-bearing-recognizing-bad-ones-before-you-use/ Some browsers have trouble without a www. in front so you could also try adding that before the forums. If it still doesn't work maybe you have a firewall or filtering software blocking the site.
