Hello All, A local friend has inherited a nice 1939 120 Coupe, I looked at it and his question was what value is it worth, he must sell it because of health issues. The car was restored a few years ago and has very few miles on it.
The Interior, Blue, is Perfect, very nice woodgraining, Radio, electrical all works, Like new cloth, headliner, carpet all first class. Chassis, suspension, tires are excellent, Chrome is very good. Motor runs perfect and is detailed very well. But, the Lacquer (Black) will need a little attention as there are a few cracks in the paint. This is a stunning 10 footer but the paint will need some work.
I've attached a couple of pictures and he would appreciate some pricing guidelines.

I'm no expert by no means, but I've seen these for sale in the $25-30k range. But there's a difference in asking price and what they really sell for of course. Is the paint original or was it redone at some point? If it is original paint you might want to use that as a selling point when potential buyers complain about it. (I know that sounds weird but the paint looks pretty darn good for being 78 years old).
