Leaky Fuel Pump

Hello and Merry Christmas,

I have a leaky fuel pump on a 54 Pacific with a 359 engine. Reviewing the manual it seems like a job that might be more than take it apart and replace a gasket. Being a novice I was hoping for some advice in trying to repair it or is it better to send it away to be rebuilt?

Any thoughts?
Andy

I think Big Kev did a write up on rebuilding his fuel pump on here.

Yes he did, I found it, it is under Packard Literature and Manuals in the how to section at the bottom of the page.
