Hello
Looking for a photo or photos of a 55 Patrician or 400 with dual rear antennas As i need to see mounting of antennas I have a set of the reproduction antenna insulators with the factory installed antennas are they still 7 inches from the end of the tail light like Caribbean
would appreciate any help

6 7/8" between the end of fender and the center of antenna hole is the Packard given dimension for the location on the fender per the factory install instructions. You might look inside the trunk and check the seam in the middle of the fender top to see if there is already a section in that area missing some metal like the notch around the factory antenna install shows.

The location could stay the same but the actual diameter of the new hole would depend on what your aftermarket antenna needs. That new diameter may not be the same size the factory antenna needed. Same with any mounting structures or dimensions at the base of the antenna that are needed to keep it at the proper angle since factory recommendations and plates might not work with your aftermarket antenna.

Here is an excerpt from the factory instructions showing the location on the fender. The Packard Patrician and 400 specific model information is outlined in red. The other photos show the factory antenna and how it was braced at the bottom on Packard models to set and keep the angle. The complete factory install instruction page is posted on your thread from a few weeks ago.
