So I got two free rims off a member of H.A.M.B. I needed two rims becasue I purchased the car with 2 rims. I was using some buick rims just for thrle tow but they were not the right measurement. Plus my Buick needed its rims back to get it towed out of my Mom's backyard. The cool thing is that these wheels I got are really attractive, plus the tires where good. I went to the used tire shop and bought some tires for my original Packard wheels and funny thing was tne tire man said the tire was real big like for a big work truck hahahahha. About 3 weekends little by little I finally broke the rear wheels loose. What did it was taking the emergency brake line off the back of the drum. What a relief, a small victory but a sweet one for me.

55-6 front doors do not have interior lock buttons. The manual lock is activated by pushing the handle forward. To release, it is automatically done as you pull the handle backwards when opening the door. If the door does not release and open by pulling the handle back then something has happened inside the door and it will be a very difficult and damaging to the door panel project to get the interior door panel off to access the mechanism.

Unless or until someone posts a photo of the rear panel from the front or above you can get a fairly decent side view of the interior quarter upholstery by downloading the 55 dealer album from the literature section. There may also be some sales brochures you can download showing similar views.http://packardinfo.com/xoops/html/modules/article/view.article.php?174

You can also download the 55 Clipper owners manual for more information.
