The car is a 55 400.
The problem is that the rear end is about 3 and 1/2 inches high in back, and the leveling system: control, motor, switches are missing.
Is there any way to level is car without these components?

If the compensator is still connected to the short bars and it is only the motor and electric components missing then you can use a ratchet or large screwdriver or rig up a drill motor to turn the worm and gears in the compensator to bring the car level. If you do this manually without a drill then be prepared for a lot of turning because of the gearing in the compensator.

If the compensator is missing and nothing is present to work the short bars about the only thing you can do is put some weight in the trunk to sort of balance the car. Maybe a bag or two of sand from the home center would be enough but you would need to experiment.

With the short bars free, driving will probably change the level as you brake or accelerate but as long as the weight is about right it will more or less level out as you go down the road. When you park the car you can manually grab the bumper and lift or push to move the rear end and make it somewhat level again. I assume the missing components are a temporary situation?
