1953-1954 Factory A/C Parts

I have been working on making some of the nearly impossible to find factory Air Conditioning parts for 1953 and 1954 Packards and Packard Clippers with the plan to eventually offer a complete assembly to install in a Packard that currently does not have it or to replacing the original aging unit you may have. So far, there are two parts available as shown below.

Fender Scoop Grills

Brand new pair factory A/C rear fender scoop inlet screens for all closed 1953 and 1954 Packard and Packard Clipper models. Made from original pattern of perforated stainless supplied by the same supplier that made them in 1953, custom stamped just for this project and laser cut locally to the original blueprint. I made only a few pair and at far greater expense than the price here for the material alone so grab a couple while you can. Even if those in your car look okay, it is very likely that they are rusted away at the bottom but these are 22 gauge stainless so will never rust. Because they are stainless, they can be left shiny as they are without worry of rust or they can be painted to match your car.

If your 1951 or 1952 Packard has had the later factory A/C added, these will also work for your car. The open models did not have A/C available. The price is for a pair and inquire about other New factory A/C parts.

Domestic shipping is included. $75 for a pair post paid to domestic addresses.

Parcel Shelf Grills

Also available are the rear parcel shelf inlet screens also in stainless at $150 for a pair post paid to domestic addresses.

These parts will be available shortly in the Classified Ads of my Packard / IMPERIAL page.

There were fresh air inlets in scoops on the rear fenders and inside air inlets on the parcel shelf. These are the grills for those inlets.
