Here's Adrien's Packard, a '38 Six 2 Door Touring Sedan, so 1184 is correct.

Adrian38, with the sequential numbering in 1938 beginning at 2001 and an estimated (Charles Blackman, 2018) only 2208 2-door touring sedans made, its highly unlikely they vehicle number (VN) could be any higher than 1184-4208.

And with a sale date of 9/20/37, it is likely the number is 1184-2565, the 565th 1601 120 2-door touring sedan built.

Now where did wjames go?

Got an update from my guy
It seem that the car had a decal that was totally unreadable. The car got sold to someone in Georgia, before it left, I was told, that they stamped numbers in the frame that matched the existing title. The car needed a complete restoration, and I do not know if its going to be restored or turned into a hot rod. Either way, whoever is doing it will have a pile of money in it that they never get back
Just hope they love the car
Thanks for all the help
W
