Dear all, my carter WDO 531 S has got a trouble with the electric starter switch. it works everytime good when i start using it. but after the engine runs a few minutes and gets a little warm, the switch doesn?t work. i can not start again by using the accelerator pedal. to get this trouble it is enough that the engine warms a litle bit up. the cold start flap in the carburator starts opening. the engine was only ideling. i can hot wire the electric starter, there is no trouble. it must be somehow a thermical or vacuum problem with the carburator switch. any ideas? looking forward to your reply. BR Josef

Have you tried a cleaning and a linkage adjustment? Use of the special gauge tool isn't essential.

Make sure the notch on the plunger faces up.
