Found an interesting parts bag up at the old Fanelli dealership in Shenandoah PA. Sadly, nothing in it.

Ross, the Packard driven airship USS Shenandoah (ZR-1) could be used as connection between the Liberty engines and Shenandoah PA, which is 500 miles away from Detroit. Unfortunately the bag says Rolls Royce (Merlin).

Too early for the RR Merlin, must have been an earlier RR engine type.
